The Prodigals Return – Welcome Back Rob and Gavin

After a long absence in the field of duty, Waves Group are pleased to welcome back into the London office two of the Cwaves consultant maritime civil engineers, Gavin Dickson and Rob Williams.
Gavin and Rob have been embedded within the engineering and project management team of our client Sarens for over two years, in the offices of one of the world’s largest oil and gas projects.
Rob and Gavin have carried out key roles in ensuring two heavy lift transhipment port facilities were successfully completed and delivered on time. One port facility was located on the Black Sea coast and the other in Gulf of Finland. Both facilities were substantial, multi-million euro, “projects-within-a-project” and involved the design and construction of significant port upgrades.
Gavin and Rob’s role was to provide assurance of the upgrade works to Sarens, who will be operating out of both facilities for a number of years. This entailed developing the project requirements, design reviews, construction verification and oversight, detailed progress reporting and significant project management assistance to Sarens and to both Ports.
The return of Rob and Gavin to our core FFO team in London effectively doubles our existing maritime civil engineering capacity as they bring with them a total of 46 years of Port consultancy experience to our company. They are both looking forward to becoming more involved with FFO work and working with our London and international client base.
We would like to congratulate them on a job well done and welcome their return back into the fold.
