Captain Ivanov is a Class 1 Master Mariner with over 25 years industry experience, including 7 years Command experience at sea and 9 years senior management ashore. His seagoing experience includes Bulk Carriers, Reefer, Container and Passenger vessels.
Prior to joining Waves Group, Stanislav was Fleet Operations Manager for one of the world’s largest Ship-management company where he gained versatile experience in all aspects of the Container ship management, including vessel chartering and cargo stowage operations. His knowledge and experience were regularly utilised for the investigation of marine casualties and protecting Owners interests in resolving charter party disputes, cargo claims, marine casualties and incidents.
Stanislav has taken leading roles within the Fleet Emergency Response division and has been involved in the response, assessment, coordination and investigation of numerous serious marine casualties and incidents, including container vessel stow collapses, cargo loss, collisions, groundings and fires.
He was part of the team of consultants to a leading software company in the development of their unparalleled cloud-based software platforms to integrate fleet operations, advance safety, efficiency and reliability of the shipping industry and to increase stake-holders’ commercial returns through the application of digital technologies.
