EXPANDING OUR GLOBAL REACH – WAVES GROUP APPOINTS JAN-PETER BREEDEVELD TO LEAD ROTTERDAM OFFICE

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jan-Peter Breedeveld as General Manager to lead our EU operations in Rotterdam.

Jan-Peter has over 30 years Marine and Offshore experience and has worked as Engineering Director on major offshore projects across the North and Irish seas, in the Middle and Far East and the Americas.  He has worked as Project Director, responsible for the transportation and installation scope on a number of major European offshore wind projects.

He was previously responsible for fleet, offshore operations and engineering for Seaway Heavy Lifting (part of Subsea 7’s renewables business unit) and member of Seaway Heavy Liftings management team.

Jan-Peter is a Civil/Structural Engineer and has extensive experience in the construction and installation of offshore wind farms, oil and gas engineering and design, and decommissioning.  He was also a member of the IMCA Fibre Rope working group, developing industry standards for the use of fibre rope rigging.

We are pleased to have Jan-Peter join our team, further strengthening our engineering and marine capabilities within the offshore wind sector and enabling us to better serve our clients within the EU.
