Another Successful Year in Aberdeen for Waves Group

We are happy to announce another successful year for our Aberdeen office, and what a year it was. We have been incredibly busy on a number of fantastic projects including the Beatrice offshore wind farm in the Moray Firth (which is already generating power to the national grid) and the Aberdeen Bay offshore wind farm (EOWDC), which is an 11 turbine test and demonstration facility for new, innovative technologies.

Our activities last year spanned the length and breadth of Scotland, being involved in projects ranging from the recovery and deployment of tidal turbines in the Pentland Firth to the loading of jackets and topsides in the Central Belt.

Our operations in Scotland focusses on renewable energy, oil and gas, decommissioning, vessel assurance, deployment and mooring analyses and FPSOs. We have further increased our workforce and capabilities with the addition of Consultant Engineer Russell Grier to our team.

Moving forward this year, we are very excited to see the Oil and Gas industry beginning to recover and look forward to forming mutual partnerships and collaborations, using our years of knowledge and experience to make 2019 an even better year for the group.
